"Sales and Trading Assistant"
"We are looking for an energetic and commercially-oriented person who can add energy to our client's Japanese team and help aggressively grow its business in Japan".
You will be responsible for various sales and trading tasks, including: lead generation, sales, and order fulfillment. (including arranging collection of products at the port and delivery to the customer).
Although our client's business is bulk chemicals trading, you do not need to have experience in the chemical trading business as our client will provide full training for you.
The most important considerations are to have excellent Japanese and English communication skills, to have a positive, hard-working and energetic attitude, to be able to learn quickly, and to be able to create long-lasting and profitable business relationships between our client and its customers.
Your work will include:
* Assisting the further development and expansion of our client's trade with new suppliers and customers.
* Communicating and coordinating information between sales, administration, logistics, and distribution.
* Sales promotions, including generating and following-up new sales leads.
* Assisting the negotiating of sales contracts.
* Fulfilling orders, including: actively monitoring goods in transit, arranging bulk and container shipments with various shipping lines and their agents, ensuring proper delivery, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
