We have a great opportunity in Sendai City, Miyage Prefecture for a Desktop Engineer to
work in a team of user-support and quick-response to resolve end-user problem, in this role you will have the opportunity to strengthen
your knowledge and skills, the responsibility of this position includes;
- Providing
end-user technical support including, hardware/software installations,
configuring hardware, troubleshooting and correcting H/W and S/W problems,
and resolving day-to-day system problems for client/customer and/or ACS
end-users.
- Working
on fairly complex assignments (and/or portions of larger, complex
assignments).
- Performing
a full range of technical support activities.
- Performing
as a member of quick-response user-support team and generally works under
deadlines, operating independently to resolve end-user problems.
- Considerable end-user interface by phone and/or in-person.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum of 3-5 year(s) working experience as
System /Security Engineer
- Knowledge in Windows 2003 Server environment
Active Directory
- Knowledge in GFI LanGuard, CriticalWatch, MBSA
security tool
- Knowledge in System Management Server 2003
& SQL
- Knowledge in DELL Servers PowerEdge, Power
Vault
- Avaya VOIP with call center knowledge process
added advantage
- Able to work on rotation shift 24/5
- Experience in managing McAfee Server and DAT
updates
- Experience in WSUS Server and patch
distribution.
- Experience in SCCM/SMS
